My son is 61/2 and is not dry at night My son is now 61/2 and has never been dry at night. We have tried lifting him, reducing his fluid intake, increasing his fluid intake, and nothing seems to work. He wear a drynite everynight and most nights he has wet them through too. He has become very self aware and gets very upset and feels like a baby, however he still lays there in the morning in a wet bed! We have always remained very level headed and tell him not to worry and that one day he will just grow out of it. Can anyone give me a top tip and light and the end of the tunnel? Still in pull ups now at school! My 5yr old son has had a slight delay in his development and is being supported at school by Early Years, his Pediatrician put his age at about 3 1/2. He is been out of nappies since last year but cannot get him dry on a night, have tried but he just slept in his wee! And I couldn’t keep doing that to him, he just doesn’t wake up! How long would you leave it until trying again? Any ideas on hwo to get him to get out of bed and go to toilet?? Thank you Tags: dry, nappies, school, son View the Page |

Loclann Hi Jenni, my son will turn 6 in Jan and he still wets the bed at night. He wears pyjama pants and sometimes they’re dry but not that often. Should we take him back to the doctor or just wait and hope he’ll grow out of it? Thanks. Nuala Tags: dry, son View the Page |

2 year old son My son is potty trained during the day. Should I restrict drinking after a certaintime at night to aid him in becoming dry at night? If so how much would be right and after what time? Tags: day, dry, son View the Page |

Bed wetting & stammer Hi Just read another message about bed wetting and stammer and to be honest it’s almost the same as us. My son is 4 and a half and I started leaving his nappy off in April. This did actually coincide with him developing a stammer which I’ve only just realised reading the other message. I have to limit his last drink to a few mouthfuls of milk with his dinner at about half 4 and then don’t give him anything else. I also do a dream wee about 9 but I’d say c.twice a week he wets the bed still. I’m hardly giving him any fluids as it is and am not sure how else to manage it? Tags: fluid, son View the Page |

bed wetting and stammer My son is now 4yrs, and has just recently started school. at the moment he seems to be wetting the bed on a regular basis, sometimes even twice during the night. i don’t want to put him back into nappies/ pullups but i don’t think i have a choice; as the whole family is being disturbed during the night. in the past when there has been any changes, he has struggled with a stammer and its happening again on top of the bed wetting. We just don’t know what to do,and do’nt want ot upset him any more??? Tags: nappies, school, son View the Page |

I feel there is no more I can do! My son is 8 yrs old and has never been dry at night, he was dry during the day from 2 and a half.I have tried lots of methods and I am receiving help from the school nurse who has been coming out to visit me. I have monitored fluid intake and measured pee,I have lifted last thing at night but it didn’t seem to make a difference, he takes desmopressins which haven’t made any difference. The Doctor said his urine sample was fine and just to go back each month so he can prescribe the melts. What now?? My 10 yr old daughter was 4 and a half before dry at night and my youngest child who is 4 and a half is also still wet at night so I feel like tearing my hair out at the moment(it also costs a fortune in pullups) Sarah Tags: daughter, day, dry, fluid, intake, nurse, school, son View the Page |

5yr Old son always wet at night My 5yr old boy is always wet at night. He has been dry in the day since he was 2yrs. He goes toilet before bed and again I wake him about 12am. However he is always in such a deep sleep he never wakes to go toilet, so I have put him back in nappy for bed. Could you please give me some helpful tips to get him dry, I really dont want my son in nappies at 5yrs old. Kerri Tags: day, dry, nappies, son, tip, wear View the Page |
