Never been dry my daughter is 5yrs 7months and never been dry at night. sometimes we take her to toilet before we go to bed but that doesn’t always work and sometimes she’s already wet by then. she seems to be in such a deep sleep. is there anything we can do to help her become dry and at what age do we need to worry bout her still being wet? 7 yr old bed wetting My daughter is nearly 7 and has never been dry at night. She also has quite a few accidents during the day. When she was a toddler she potty trained ok during the day but seems to not want to go to the toilet when she needs to. I am getting worried that she may not grow out of this and wonder what I can try to stop the bed wetting. I didn’t really want to go down the road of tablets and doctors as I don’t want her to be embarrassed or upset about it. Tags: accidents, daughter, day, dry View the Page |

I feel there is no more I can do! My son is 8 yrs old and has never been dry at night, he was dry during the day from 2 and a half.I have tried lots of methods and I am receiving help from the school nurse who has been coming out to visit me. I have monitored fluid intake and measured pee,I have lifted last thing at night but it didn’t seem to make a difference, he takes desmopressins which haven’t made any difference. The Doctor said his urine sample was fine and just to go back each month so he can prescribe the melts. What now?? My 10 yr old daughter was 4 and a half before dry at night and my youngest child who is 4 and a half is also still wet at night so I feel like tearing my hair out at the moment(it also costs a fortune in pullups) Sarah Tags: daughter, day, dry, fluid, intake, nurse, school, son View the Page |

One year dry and now my 5 yr old daughters is wetting the bed again 18 months ago we moved out of our house and in with my in laws. The very first night my daughter wet the bed. This has carried on, sometimes once a week and sometimes every night!! She then started school this september and her teacher helped me by giving her a sticker every morning that she was dry. Within 10 days she had 7 stickers!! Brilliant!! Now that the stickers have stopped she has been wetting the bed every night for the last four weeks!! I am going to ask her teacher to help again but just wanted to know if i should be doing anything else as well? Should i take her to the doctors? She is a little embarassed about it and doesn’t want to wet the bed anymore! Bless her! Tags: daughter, day, dry, morning, school View the Page |

Day-time wetting Our 4.5yr old daughter has never wet her bed at night however she does wet during the day. We have tried reward charts, taking her to the toilet regularly, getting cross, not getting cross all to no avail. Our HV is not concerned and says she will grow out of it but we are wondering if there is a medical reason. How is she able to stay dry at night though? Thanks Emma Tags: daughter, day, dry, son View the Page |

bedwetting Does it really depend on how much liquid has been drunk throughout the day as we always limit the last drink in the evening to about 7pm and always make sure the children go the toilet before bed and more often then not there is still wet nappies in the morning. My daughter is 7 and my son is 5. I never had this problem with my 12 year old. I also have a 7 month old baby who I am hoping wont need nappies at night at age 5 and 7! night time dryness Hello Jenni My daughter will be 5 in December and has been dry during the day since she was 14 months old. She goes to the toilet when she goes to bed at 7pm, we wake her at 10pm for another wee but then she still does another wee sometime during the night. Sometimes the wet bed wakes her up and sometimes it does not. We have now gone back to putting a pull up on her at night. What else can we do as this is so frustrating? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Tags: daughter, day, dry View the Page |

Not bedwetting but… My 6 year old daughter has been dry at night since just before she was 3, she had very few accidents and never needed to get up to go in the night. She is still dry at night but has started getting up many times a night to go to the toilet. She has been checked by a doctor and is fine and there have been no changes at home. Any clues on how we can all sleep through again? Tags: accidents, daughter, dry View the Page |
